About Hyma Plastic Hyma Plastic Was established in the year 1975 for the production of PE film used in heavy duty bags with a capacity of 1800 ton / year In the year 1979 Hyma increased its production to 4500 ton / year. The first agriculture film PE film up to 14 meter used in high tunnels and normal low tunnels was produced by Hyma Plastic by adding the biggest line in Middle East and North Africa in the year of 1989 and with a capacity of 6000 ton / year , by this new production line Hyma has increased its production to 10500 metric ton / year. In the year 1995 Hyma was the first company in Egypt and middle east to produse the HDPE Lining film of 4 meter Width and up to 5 mm thickness , this kind of sheet is used in the insulation of canals , water basin and landfills , the yearly production of this line was 6000 metric ton / year By the years Hyma increased the production until it reaches a yearly production of 22000 metric ton by adding 2 lines for the production of heavy duty bags and one big line for the production of agriculture film in the year 2000. In the year 2006 Hyma started the flexible packaging production by producing printed and unprinted multilayer film for the use in flexible packaging application. The year 2007 the yearly production of Hyma became 35000 metric ton/year
